Joseph Razza, P.E., FSFPE is a Senior Fire Protection Engineer at Sparc Fire Protection Engineering, LLC, bringing over 30 years of experience in fire protection engineering, fire and building code consulting, design, inspections, testing, and evaluation of fire protection systems. He is a New York State Licensed Professional Engineer with extensive expertise in fire alarm systems, life safety, and regulatory compliance.
Mr. Razza has extensive knowledge of building and fire codes and has provided engineering services for a wide range of projects involving fire protection system design, code analysis, inspections, and testing. He has been actively involved in the development and advancement of fire safety regulations through participation on numerous industry advisory and code committees, including the New York City Fire Department Industry Advisory Board, NYC Building Code and Fire Code Revision Committees, and the New York State Building Code Committee.
Mr. Razza is a Fellow of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE), Past President of the New York Metropolitan Chapter of SFPE, and has held leadership positions with the Fire Safety Directors Association (FSDA) and the New York Fire Alarm Association (NYFAA). He has been recognized for his contributions to the fire protection industry, including receiving the Fire Safety Directors Award and SFPE Outstanding Chapter Service Award.
