Jonathan Lo, P.E.

Jonathan Lo, P.E., has a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), and Master of Science in Fire Protection Engineering from the California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo (CalPoly SLO). Mr. Lo is a Professional Engineer (P.E.) licensed in mechanical engineering and fire protection engineering in California. Mr. Lo has over 14 years of experience in various industries and roles, including natural gas and electric utilities, code consulting, and as the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ) for the San Francisco Fire Department (SFFD) at the San Francisco International Airport (SFO). Mr. Lo has a thorough understanding of codes and standards, local amendments, and AHJ interpretations in the San Francisco Bay Area, and has provided consulting services for all aspects of fire protection engineering--with a specialty in smoke control systems and hazardous materials--for projects ranging from healthcare, hospitality, courthouses, agriculture, and high-rises.
