The building was undergoing a renovation on all floors. Sparc performed drawing review and code consulting to confirm compliance with the applicable codes, which included the New York City Building Code, New York City Fire Code, and NFPA 101, Life Safety Code. Code compliance items reviewed included, but were not limited to an exit capacity, travel distance, fire resistance ratings, automatic sprinkler system and fire alarm system requirements, and construction classification.
